Why is there so much Suffering?

All of us, earth wide, are suffering. This is due to many reasons, such as ill health, financial problems, injustice and the effects of warfare.

But Why is this so?

In the beginning the bible tells us there was only one ruler, Jehovah God. He provided a beautiful paradise home, perfect health and meaningful work.

So what went wrong? Our first parents rejected Jehovah God’s rulership, causing them to lose everything God had provided and as a consequence they lost this for us too.

From Human rulership over other humans we have seen things deteriorate to where they are now, so that even the best human governments cannot solve those serious problems mentioned at the start that cause suffering.

God’s Kingdom

However Jehovah God has set up a Kingdom or Government that will remedy those problems. In the Bible book of Daniel 2: 44 it states that God’s Kingdom will “never be destroyed” “it will stand forever”!

This is the heavenly Kingdom or government that millions contiue to pray for daily in the Lords or Our Father Prayer recorded at Matthew 6: 9, 10 “You must pray, then, this way: “‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified.10 Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.”

Through this Kingdom Jehovah God will restore to humankind all the things our first parents lost.

But When Will This “Kingdom Come”?

Jesus gave signs for us to look for, in Matthew chapter 24 and 25; Luke chapter 21 – he stated that we will worldwide war, earthquakes, food shortages, disease and epidemics and of course the world wide preaching of the Good News of God’s Kingdom. We see this on a global scale now.

If you would like to learn more about these signs and how we can be certain of the nearness of God’s Kingdom by visiting JW.org and review the magazine What Is Gods Kingdom?
