Today we are suffering for specific reasons, the cause is identified in the related post “Why is there Suffering Today?”
Our answer may have surprised some readers. Simple and direct. Based on the evidence presented from the same source we can determine that soon there will be an end to suffering. Jesus taught his followers to pray for the remedy in Matthew 6: 9 and 10 [KJV] – “After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
“Let your kingdom come” God’s Kingdom, a Heavenly Government.
Evidence of Kingdom Power
When Jesus was on earth he demonstrated on a small scale what he could do for humanity through one of the miracles:
Feeding Thousands – this brings an end to famine, starvation and poverty
An end to hunger and starvation is promised to those accepting “God’s Kingdom”, the bible promise is that there will be plenty to eat notice the words in Psalm 72: 16 [RNWT] “There will be an abundance of grain on the earth; On the top of the mountains it will overflow. His fruit will flourish as in Lebʹa·non, And in the cities people will blossom like the vegetation of the earth.“
Another example of the kingdom in action during Jesus ministry, he healed the sick, deaf, blind, mute, lame. An end to all disability, not a partial cure or supply of aids but as Isaiah 33: 24 “And no resident will say: “I am sick.”The people dwelling in the land will be pardoned for their error.”
Through Jesus heavenly rulership death will be brought to an end, as will the sickness, famine and violence that plague our world.
